Christmas........ with Camel and Yak and Jeanne D'arc Living.....

Some amazing ideas from the most gorgeous Christmas issue ever... I adore this magazine and have for weeks been looking with delight at the back issues, gathering lots of magical ideas for food and crafts and new ideas for rooms that twinkle with festive spirit. I am currently in my sick bed with a cough and cold dreaming away at all the lovely days to come...

I never get fed up of this lovely magazine, filled with such beauty and no adverts I hate all of the adverts slicing in between articles now, so you don't know what is what and your magazine is slowly spoiled .

Late Summer Issue

April Issue...as always I just can't wait.................

I am beginning to build up a fabulous reference source for so many ideas.

To often I get into decorating ruts and boring ideas or tread the know and true to be safe, but 

Jeanne d'arc living magazine breaks the rules and hauls me out of my familiar rut in a lovely way

and I have seen my house slowly change in innovative and inspiring ways, that haven't cost me a fortune...well I don't have a fortune to spend so  I hope these pictures and this lovely magazine inspire you, like they inspire me.

Fabulous February a Valentines treat............................

Roses for romance

I have tried this idea with a spare old door

and it looks fabulous and makes a lovely focal point 

  I just can't wait to get this issue............
Now the disaster has passed in the kitchen and I am looking for new ideas I hauled out my rather nice collection of J.D.Living magazines from Camel and Yak.  It was such a pleasure to look through them, I love the sheer quality of the photos and the paper and to get so many ideas for the new utility / kitchen space, I just can't wait to get started. I think it will be mainly off white with a good helping of grey....maybe turquoise...watch this space.

Januarys Issue is so gorgeous I was bowled over....................
